Natura latex mattresses contain some or all of the following ingredients.
They start with aloe vera or organic cotton ticking to stimulate healthy skin rejuvenation and provide an antimicrobial sleep surface. Natura packs in up to 5.6 lbs of Pure NaturaWool™ which reduces tossing and turning from temperature fluctuations and improves your circulation by buffering pressure points.
To reduce chemical exposure even more they use natural cotton as the fire barrier which not only meets but exceeds all Canadian & US flammability standards. Then they use plant-based foam to enhance cushioning and comfort while supplementing support.
There are two types of latex that can be used in natural latex mattresses. One is dunlop latex the other is talalay latex. Natura uses a convoluted dunlop latex to enhances the contouring of the mattress for supple support and 3 or 5-Zone Talalay Latex that provides the following 3 benefits
- Delivers soothing targeted shoulder, lumbar, hip, thigh and lower leg support
- Absorbs motion transfer so couples can sleep together undisturbed
- Reduces exposure to dust-mites and other allergens
Lastly, Natura uses a coconut coir to provide a firm, breathable foundation for all of the ingredients above to rest on. Natura latex mattresses are truly a natural dream to sleep on.
