All the mattresses discussed above are inner-spring mattresses. Duxiana has truly embraced the innerspring and has even gone as far as quadrupling the amount of springs in their top of line DUX 8888. Duxiana claims the extra springs reduce the pressure on your body as it settles into a night’s sleep. Reduced pressure means increased blood circulation for proper blood flow.

Because Duxiana has embraced the innerspring it makes the comparison between Duxiana and Urban Sleep Store’s line up of mattresses somewhat one-dimensional.

Urban Sleep Store has a number of specialty and organic mattress brands. These would include everything from OrganicPedic organic mattresses to Tempur-Pedic memory foam mattresses. In total, Urban Sleep Store offers five different brands, each with their own collections, which equates to a lot more choice for our consumers. Mattresses are not a one size fits all purchase. It’s our belief that having a variety of mattresses and comfort levels is paramount to having happy customers and low return rates.

In contrast, Duxiana is their only brand and is offered with a line up of only four mattresses. However, if you aren’t elderly or infirm you would probably eliminate the Dux Axion. It’s no secret that all of Duxiana mattresses are a bit costly. The lowest price tag on their Duxiana 1001 is thirty-five hundred dollars and next in line is the Axion which costs nearly twice that figure. The kicker, as we mentioned before, is that the Duxiana 1001 is their basic comfort model and the Axion is for elderly and/or infirm individuals. So most of Duxiana’s customers will have to pay for one of two highest priced models which tops out at ten thousand.

We feel because these mattresses are innerspring, regardless of how numerous, it may make the buying decision more difficult for some. While the jewel of the crown in the Urban Sleep Store inventory costs just under ten thousand, there are also models that do not even break four figures like the Greenspring mattress from Natura.
